Water Circulation Enhancement at Zhongdu Wetlands Park in Kaohsiung, Taiwan

◎ Models Installed: AF Series - Submersible Sewage / Wastewater Pumps

◎ Description:

Zhongdu Wetlands Park, located along the Love River in Kaohsiung, has experienced a decline in water quality over time due to fluctuating river levels and sediment accumulation. To restore circulation, the city government installed embankments, automated gates, and pumps to refresh 10% of the water daily, thereby improving flow and enhancing ecological conditions. The project features HCP PUMP’s AF Series submersible sewage wastewater pumps. Built with cast iron and equipped with sacrificial anodes, the pumps resist abrasion and extend their service life. The AF-1440 model, capable of pumping 18m³/min at a 6-meter head, provides a stable and sufficient water supply to meet circulation goals. By better pumping efficiency, the system plays a key role in supporting wetlands restoration and sustainable water management.
