In the 1970s, Taiwan’s rapid industrial growth led to a surge in water demand. At that time, most submersible pumps were imported, expensive, and required high technological knowledge due to their prolonged operation underwater. With high technological barriers, Taiwan lacked local manufacturers capable of producing reliable products in this field. Recognizing the need for dependable and affordable submersible pumps, our founder, Mr. Wen-Che Fang, dedicated himself to the research and development of submersible pumps. His vision was wherever water is, there is HCP PUMP, which inspired the name of our company, HOU CHEN PUMP. 

The name, derived from 'Hou' (rivers) and 'Chen' (being seen), reflects our commitment to providing reliable water solutions on a global scale. The initials of HOU CHEN PUMP formed our registered brand, HCP PUMP, which has since gained worldwide recognition.

With over 40 years of relentless innovation and dedication, HCP PUMP products now serve customers in Taiwan and globally across diverse water-related sectors.
